The Standard Sponsorship Project (SSP) matches students at Nsondole with individual donors. It only costs $20/month to sponsor a student; this pays for their School Supplies (Backpacks, Pens, Pencils, Notebooks), School Essentials (Shoes, Uniforms, Hygiene Supplies), Tuition, Exam Fees & Room and Board, Calculators, and Math Instruments (For Sophomores & Seniors Preparing for National Exams), and Graduation Fees.
Students will be matched with donors on a first come first serve basis, as there are a limited number of students that Story Time sponsors. Each year, Story Time sponsors about 20-30 students, allowing them to attend school. We have found that sponsored students are performing above their peers on government issued exams. 100% of the students that we sponsor advance to the next grade, which is something no other organization working in the area has been able to achieve.
