Without these essential partners, our core staff would be without the support they need to manage Story Time’s central activities. From coordinating events, to writing promotional material, to working directly with students on the ground, our volunteers go above and beyond the basic requirements to get the job done.

Our Volunteers
While seeing the direct effects of their work on the lives of children living today, our volunteers generously give their time and effort to Story Time’s initiatives. Volunteers have a hand in every project Story Time takes on, from administration, to staffing fundraising events, to creating this website. Our volunteers give 60 hours of their time each week. That is 3000 hours per year, totaling approximately $75,000 in donations-in-kind! Without these dedicated partners our core staff would be without the support they need to manage Story Time’s central activities.
We’re proud to have a demographically diverse volunteer base. From Malawian, to Minnesotan, to Hmong, and everything in between, their backgrounds span the globe. We find that diverse backgrounds provide different viewpoints and increased understanding.
